Johs Mitton will be preaching on Sunday (11th February).  His sermon is titled " The Lord's Prayer for YKVC".

Scripture reading:  Matthew 6:1-18 NIV

We will be breaking bread in communion on Sunday and ask that our online participants have their elements ready.

Melt is in Vancouver from February 9th - February 28th.

The OM Mission Team depart on 16th March to South Africa. We will be praying them on their way on Sunday 10 March. Thank you to everyone who has so generously donated to this short term mission trip.

Don't Forget to diarise the Ladies Group this Saturday 10th February @ 7:45pm

This is a casual women's group that meets in the evening every several weeks. The focus is on getting to know each other more, connecting with one another more intentionally and praying for one another. Anyone is welcome - whether you have been connected to the Vineyard for 30 years or just recently. We would love to have you come along.

We will meet for the first time on Saturday evening at 7:45pm February 10th at Michaela's home. If you have any questions, please reach out to Michaela at: michaeladeputter@gmail.com or talk to Michaela on Sundays.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

It is possible that some of you have not heard a request that has been made quite a few times in church and then also in writing in the past.

“Please refrain from placing any photos or video clips taken in our Sunday Worship Services online, on Facebook, WhatsApp or any other Social Media platform.”

The reasons are :

  1. People should be able to worship God freely in our space, without the fear that they may be filmed or photographed without consent.
  2. Many families with small kids are very sensitive (with good reason) about their kids being on camera. Even in our live streamed services we have committed to not having kids on camera.
  3. Sundays are for God. Sunday Worship is what we bring to the Triune God as an offering and sacrifice of praise. It is for Him and only in a secondary sense, for us. Please refrain from putting comment about ‘whether, or how, or when the Spirit does what’ with us.  Our space is a sacred space any time we gather there. When we feel the presence of God strongly within, as we did on Sunday past, it is a sacred event. Please don’t cheapen it by opening it to public scrutiny and comment from anyone on any online platform.

Grace and Peace.
