Dear YKVC,

Welcome home! We are grateful to God for the protection of ourselves, our friends and family and our city.

Please bear with us as we re-centre ourselves and plan the immediate way ahead for our community.  Due to the disruption to all our schedules, there will be some delay in getting everything back to where it was prior to evacuation. 

We resume Sunday meetings this Sunday 17 September. It will be an ordinary Worship Service welcoming all back.

Melt will continue the sermon series The Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  His sermon on Sunday, 17th September, is titled: Love and the gift of faith.

Scripture Reading: Hebrews 11: 1-12 (NIV)

 

24th September - A special thanksgiving Service for the sparing of the city and lives / material possessions.  We will share Communion at this service. Melt will lead.

1st October - Kingdom Kids church start up. Apologies for the delay in Kingdom Kids Church start up. It is due to evacuation and a delay in planning, bear with us and your kids  it is only two weeks to go!

8th October - Thanksgiving Sunday - Potluck and Turkey after the service. More details to follow.

15th October - Josh Mitton's Commissioning as Worship Pastor.

The Gift Network Inventory / course will be moved to two Saturdays in late October, which will be confirmed by the end of September.

6 December - YKVC Annual Christmas dinner.   5:00pm at the United Church. More details to follow.  Please save the date!
